THE STUDENTS

They are the reason we are here,
The reason we do what we do.
They are the future of Africa.
They are Africa's Tomorrow.

Congratulations to Temvelo Matsebula on her acceptance into Berea College!
Our FIRST female student.

We're so excited for her and proud of what she has already accomplished.

"Many Swazis have the attitude that if you are from a poverty-stricken family you are useless. Even if you are poor, your future is in your hands. Your background does not determine your future."

And don't forget our other five extraordinary students as they continue in their struggles to obtain higher education.

Winny Mokoena

Winny Mokoena

Hopes to study: Science & Engineering
"I have attended school and have worked really hard because I know myself, where I come from, and what I want to achieve. I believe that education is the key to success and the corridor to a bright future."

For 2013 we chose our top SIX students. Two of the ten were able to pass the TOEFL but only one successfully gained admission to a college in the US (at least one did attend college in her home country). This is not an easy task, and we commend every one of them for their tremendous efforts!

Your donations helped give these students the opportunity they deserved, and a chance to make a better life for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Thank you!
